What is WASE all about?

How would you like it if you are given an opportunity to work for a MNC and also do your MS in Software Engineering with a renowned university?

Sounds like a dream come true, Isn’t it?

Well, that is what WASE is all about.

WASE - Wipro Academy of Software Excellence.

If you are a fresh outstanding science under-graduate then WASE is a unique and golden opportunity for you. It is the most sought after education initiative of Wipro Technologies. Wipro started off with this higher education initiative through WASE by 1995.

Apart from training the students with necessary platform skills, behavioral skills and providing live project exposure, this program also provides an opportunity to pursue a four years (8 Semesters) off-campus collaborative MS Program with Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani (Rajasthan, India).

What is the eligible criteria for one to join WASE?

Currently, the WASE program is open only for fresh science graduates. To be more specific,

• Must have done 60% aggregate on B.Sc. graduates who have opted for Computer Science/Electronics, Physics, and Mathematics as subjects [OR]
  
• Must have done aggregate and with Mathematics as a subject in their +2/PUCBCA/BCM graduates and
  
• Must have 60% aggregate and with Mathematics as a subject in their +2/PUC
  

are eligible for this program. Short listing and selection is strictly based on merit.

What is this WASE section all about?

This is a place where you can

• Get all WASE related resources like Handouts, E-books, Solution Set, Sample Question Papers, etc.
  
• Get to interact with other WASE-ians across various states in India.
  
• Share your WASE related ideas and queries with your seniors or other confreres.
  

DON’Ts

There is not much rules and regulations to be a part of this WASE section. However, few basic things are to be kept in mind for the sake of running this service smoothly. To jot them down:

• NO obscene language will be tolerated
  
• Do NOT try to affront other members
  
• You are welcome to share your views but ensure it is not offending anyone or anything!
